Guga Stocco wants to turn every Brazilian into a startup investor through tokenization
Entrepreneur Guga Stocco has selected a group of six startups open to investment through a token launched in partnership with Mercado Bitcoin.
For an investor to become a venture capitalist for a startup, the minimum investment in Brazil starts at R$1 million. It was to overcome this barrier that entrepreneur Guga Stocco created the STOCCO1 token, a digital equity offering launched in partnership with Mercado Bitcoin (MB).
With twenty years of experience in Brazil’s capital markets and a focus on technology, Stocco has selected six startups to be included in the portfolio that makes up the token. Investors can invest as little as R$ 100, and payments will be made when these companies go public (begin selling shares on the stock exchange) or are acquired by other companies.
